GlobeWeather is the Joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5 version of the MambWeather module.

Worldwide weather module for displaying actual weather readings of more than 7000 official weather stations. No registration or subscription to any weather services needed, therefore truly free. Weather data are obtained from the US NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). No weather forecasts.

Also available as a Premium and Business edition, including two additional icon sets, AutoCalc automatic sunrise/sunset calculation, SmartMetar data retrieval technology and ample other configuration options.

Please note: If you update from GlobeWeather v1.4.6 or earlier, you will lose configuration options. If you want to keep these options, you should not update or get the Premium edition (€ 5.50 only).

If below procedure does not apply to your install, you can manually check for updates here.

Below information applies to v1.3.0.0 and later for all GlobeWeather editions (Standard - Freeware, Premium, Business).

Keeping your GlobeWeather install up to date has been made really easy!
In the GlobeWeather module manager (backend), you will find a clickable link at the top of the module description. Via this link, you will get information about your current version, whether updates are available and how to update.
