 An extended version of the standard MambWeather Worldwide weather module, including the option to automatically calculate and apply sunset/sunrise times for weather stations (AutoCalc).
No registration or subscription to any weather services needed. Weather data are obtained from the US NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). Uses SmartMetar data retrieval technology. No weather forecasts.

With this premium version, you will no longer need to re-adjust the sunrise/sunset times for your weather stations, that is if you really want to stay in tune with changing seasons and if you have enabled the AutoCalc option. MambWeather Premium will automatically calculate and apply sunrise and sunset times for you, so that the proper day/night weather icons are displayed. Only in special cases, i.e. for extreme high latitude stations, you will still need to pay some extra attention.
The AutoCalc option is configurable. In the business edition, the AutoCalc configuration includes the type of sunrise/sunset calculation, i.e. standard, civil, nautical or astronomical.
There are two additional icon sets and ample other configuration options, for example you can choose which weather data are to be displayed and much more.

Install or upgrade via Joomla! backend.

Requirements: Joomla! 1.5.15 or later. PHP 5.

You may want to try the free standard edition first. The standard edition does not include the AutoCalc option and does not use SmartMetar technology.
