GlobeWeather Business - J3
GlobeWeather Business Edition for Joomla 3
For personal and business use. Support provided.
Current version: 4.0.1. Compatible with PHP 5.3+ and PHP 7. Joomla! 3.6 or later.
Updates through the Joomla! update system.
Configuration overview: see here.
An extended version of the standard GlobeWeather Worldwide weather module, including the option to automatically calculate and apply sunset/sunrise times for weather stations (AutoCalc) and DST detection (depends on server configuration).
No registration or subscription to any weather services needed. Weather data are obtained from the US AWC (Aviation Weather Center). This Business Edition uses our proprietary enhanced SmartMetar data retrieval technology. No weather forecasts.
With this Business Edition, you will no longer need to re-adjust the sunrise/sunset times for your weather stations, that is if you really want to stay in tune with changing seasons and if you have enabled the AutoCalc option. GlobeWeather Business will automatically calculate and apply sunrise and sunset times for you, so that the proper day/night weather icons are displayed. The AutoCalc option is configurable; the configuration includes the type of sunrise/sunset calculation, i.e. standard, civil, nautical or astronomical.
There are two additional icon sets (vs the freeware edition) and ample other configuration options, for example you can choose which weather data are to be displayed and much more.
Install or upgrade via Joomla! backend.
Basic install, upgrade and setup instructions are in the documentation that comes with the download package.

You may want to try the free standard edition first. The standard edition does not include AutoCalc, does not use SmartMetar technology and has significantly less configuration options.
