The php 5.3 deprecated code in the MambWeather module has been upgraded and the module should now be clean of these errors/warnings. Please download version 2.2.1.1 or later and re-install on top of your current install. Your settings will be kept.
Please let me know - via this forum - if things are allright now.

I shall wait patiently for your response.

For now I am only working with my localhost, I do not have a "real"website to test it.

Many thanks

Yes the ereg function has been deprecated as of php 5.3 and will be replaced by compatible code.
I will try to resolve the other issues you mentioned after I am able to reproduce the errors/warnings that you are quoting.
Please bear with me.

I wonder if you get these messages if you publish the module on a 'real' website. So far, I have not seen these error messages/warnings.

Wonderful application. So easy to install, but on display I experienced a long list of error messages like the samples below:

Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\Joomla\modules\mod_mambweather\mod_mambweather.php on line 422

Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\Joomla\modules\mod_mambweather\mod_mambweather\Savant2.php on line 1202

Deprecated: Function ereg() is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\Joomla\modules\mod_mambweather\mod_mambweather\metar.class.php on line 1043

Any help will be appreciated. I am just a beginner working on my localhost.

What did you enter as the parameter Display Width?
You should enter only a number (without the word 'px').
